Commercial Photography and Networking: Sophie Traynor

Recently I attended a talk from Sophie Traynor about her experience as practicioning photographer after finishing at University. She has worked with an impressive amount of clients ranging from Adidas, Russell Hobbs and Primark. Her insight into the working world of photography was incredible.

She suggested keeping on top of social media profiles such as LinkedIn and Instagram but one of the most important things is to network. A lot of commissioned work comes through word of mouth- so make a good impression on those you have worked with and often more jobs will come your way. In photography its who you know and what you know, so always remain professional and keep your website updated with your newest projects.
